From July 2013, the ALL4 all-wheel drive models will be available on the MINI Countryman and MINI Paceman. The new MINI models come as standard with a manual six-speed transmission and will also be supplied on request with a six-speed automatic transmission.
The ALL4 system is based on a electromagnetic centre differential and continuously distributes the driving force between the front axle and the rear axle. Its electronic control system is merged straight into the DSC control unit (Dynamic Stability Control). This allows the system to transmit the torque of the engine in a quick and precise manner.
MINI Cooper Countryman ALL4 and MINI Cooper Paceman ALL4 will be equipped with the 1.6-liter engine which creates 122 hp and 190 Nm of torque.
