Opel presents the 2nd generation of the Mokka. Deeply transformed, the urban SUV, cousin of the Peugeot 2008, is now available in a 100% electric version.
The Opel Mokka has just passed to the second generation, this time under the aegis of PSA. And this change in origin changes everything! In terms of looks, the Mokka is simply transformed. It displays the new stylistic language of Opel, characterized by an original concept called "Opel Vizor".
By adopting the PSA CMP (Common Modular Platform) platform, the Opel Mokka-e SUV sees its dimensions largely evolve within particular -12.5 cm in length (and -1 cm in width)! With its 4.15m, it is thus much smaller than its cousin the Peugeot 2008. The habitability promises, however, to be preserved thanks to an unchanged wheelbase (+0.2 cm). The same thing for the boot volume announced at 350L.
This new platform also allows the grafting of a 100% electric motorization. The Mokka will be available from its launch in a zero-emission version. In this configuration, called Mokka-e, the SUV will adopt the same block as the Peugeot e-2008 (and that the e-208 and the DS 3 Crossback E-Tense ).
The Opel Mokka-e electric SUV delivers 100 kW/136 hp to the front wheels, with 260 Nm of torque. The top speed is electronically limited to 150 km / h.
