The Bavarian limousine offers itself the first update. This BMW 7 Series receives a spectacular facelift of its front. It is impossible to ignore this gigantic grille that occupies almost the entire front. BMW announces it as 40% larger which, combined with a refinement of the headlights, gives it a very imposing presence and somewhat outrageous. Fortunately, the BMW Coupe Series 8 has escaped this trend ...
Inside, it's full of small details. The steering wheel has been redesigned, and the instrumentation goes 100% digital. The driving position is nevertheless quite close to the previous version, with the 10.25 - inch touch screen still positioned on the dashboard. Combined with a 12.3-inch digital handset, the BMW Operating System 7.0 infotainment system comes standard. We also find the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant system, to enjoy several programs including massages, air conditioning or even bright atmosphere. Finally, the sedan also includes Microsoft Office and Skype, an option that should particularly appeal to businesses. In addition to this grille, the novelties are more discreet. The taillights are modified and refined, and now connected by a thin bar of LEDs.
Under the hood, some novelties. The V12 of the M760Li loses 25 hp with a particle filter (585 hp at the end) while the 750i V8 gets 80 hp to 530 hp. Diesel engine starts now with unchanged 730d (265 hp), 740d (320 hp) and 750d (400 hp).
All BMW Series 7 will be equipped with all-wheel drive and 8-speed automatic transmission. Expected in the course of March, the high-end sedan has not yet announced its prices, but these should undoubtedly exceed the 85450 USD.
